Un mariage sur la Costa Blanca [ Veronica + Einar] A Costa Blanca wedding

Veronica et Einar sont des “destination lovers”… Après s’être fiancés à Dubaï, ils ont poursuivi leur aventure amoureuse sur la Costa Blanca pour célébrer leur mariage avec quelques membres de leur famille et une poignée d’amis très proches… Un mariage à l’étranger qui leur a permis de prolonger, au-delà d’un week-end, ce moment magique avec leurs invités, venus spécialement pour l’occasion.  Suivis par Bikini Birdie, ils nous livrent ici quelques images de leur grand jour sous le soleil des côtes espagnoles.

Veronica and Einar are « destination lovers » … After having engaged in Dubai, they continued their love affair on the Costa Blanca to celebrate their wedding with closest family and friends … A destination wedding that allowed them follow during a week this magical moment with their guests, who came especially for the occasion. Followed by Bikini Birdie, they give us a few pictures of their big day under the sun of Spain.

Some words about you and your wedding ? Quelques mots sur vous et votre mariage ?

After having travelled a lot together and getting engaged in Dubai, we figured we might as well get married abroad. So we ended up having a small and wonderful wedding with just our closest family and friends.

Après avoir beaucoup voyagé ensemble et s’être fiancés à Dubaï, nous avons pensé que nous pourrions aussi bien nous marier à l’étranger. Donc, nous avons fini par faire un merveilleux petit mariage avec notre famille et les amis les plus proches.

What is your favorite moment of this day ? Ce que vous retiendrez de cette journée ?

Apart from the wedding itself, the best part was that all of our guests stayed for an entire week.

Mis à part le mariage lui-même, le meilleur aura été que tous nos invités sont restés pendant une semaine entière.

If it were to do it again, what will you change ? Ce que vous regrettez ?

Looking back we would have arranged the same type of wedding – nothing went wrong and we don’t have any regrets about any of the details.

En regardant en arrière, nous aurions organisé le même type de mariage – Tout était parfait et nous ne avons pas de regrets au sujet de tous les détails.

Any advice for future brides ? Un conseil aux futurs mariés ?

One good advice to future destination weddings is to be aware of the cultural differences and prepare for last minute changes.

Un bon conseil aux amoureux qui souhaiteraient se marier à l’étranger  : être conscient des différences culturelles et se préparer à des changements de dernière minute.

Le mot du photographe

Einar and Veronica are lovely, genuine, and madly in love. Their Costa Blanca destination wedding reflected that in every way.  They had a moving ceremony in Villajoyosa at the Norwegian church, then to old town Altea and Calpe for photos before landing at L’Olleta Chiringuito in Altea for the reception.They had barely more than a dozen guests which kept things intimate and special. Einar is a photographer, which sometimes can be intimidating, but it was a total pleasure to work with him as he trusted in my vision one hundred percent. We are spending most of the year in Hawai’i now but we save summers for Spain (¡claro que sí! ) and these photos remind me of the beautiful Mediterranean we have to look forward to.
