Lost in the woods love session [Beatrice + Riccardo] l’amour en argentique…

On n’imagine pas à quel point certaines passions peuvent « façonner » une vie… Autour de l’amour du métier, on est souvent amené à échanger avec d’autres professionnels, tisser des liens d’amitié et parfois même rencontrer l’âme soeur ! C’est au cours d’une séance photo que Riccardo a rencontré Beatrice. De cette rencontre professionnelle est née une belle histoire d’amour avec un lien tout particulier à la photographie qui les a conduit sur le même chemin… Et c’est naturellement vers le duo des L&V Photography grâce à qui ils se sont rencontrés qu’ils se sont tournés pour immortaliser leur « amour en argentique »…

You can not imagine how some passions can « shape » our lives … Around this love of the profession often leads you to interact with other professionals, build friendships and even meet love! It was during a photo shoot that Riccardo met Beatrice. From this business meeting was born a beautiful love story with a special link to the photo which led them on the same way … And it is naturally to the duo of L & V Photography through which they met that they turned to immortalize their « love film » …

L&V Photography

I am a photographer (www.riccardodelfanti.com), photography has always been a part of my life, and as it always happens, this passion also has a strange way to shape my life. 

Through photography I met Letizia & Viola, we soon became friends and we also work together from time to time. But, most of all, it led me to love, because during a session I met Beatrice. Since the moment we became a couple, we knew photography had a deep meaning for both of us, and we tried to document as much as possible our time together. To do a love session with Letizia & Viola was almost a natural consequence.

Je suis un photographe (www.riccardodelfanti.com), la photographie a toujours été une partie de ma vie, et comme il arrive toujours, cette passion a aussi une étrange manière de façonner ma vie.

Grâce à la photographie, j’ai rencontré Letizia et Viola, nous sommes vite devenus amis et nous travaillons aussi ensemble de temps en temps. Mais, surtout, cela m’a conduit à l’amour, lorsque lors d’une session, j’ai rencontré Béatrice. Depuis le moment où nous sommes devenus un couple, nous savions que la photographie aurait une signification profonde pour nous deux, et nous avons essayé de travailler ensemble autant que possible. Faire une séance d’engagement avec Letizia et Viola était presque une conséquence naturelle.

Le mot des photographes…

When our friend Riccardo met Beatrice, we thought that they were one of the most beautiful couples we had ever seen! Of course we were head over heels about their love session! Apart from that, shooting a photographer is always a challenge, because they usually are much more at ease behind the camera. So we felt a bit of pressure about working for a pro of the job, because we wanted their session to look gorgeous, but we also had to make sure to create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere during the shooting.

We needed to have a location with lots of greenery, but we were much more into a « lost in the woods » feeling, and no garden or city park would have been the best choice. So, we literally took our car and got lost! We are so lucky to live in Oltrepò, in the North of Italy, where a breathtaking scenery of hills, woods and vineyards is all around. As you can see form the pics, we can really say to have found some lovely spots, and we really think that this location adds a bit of magic to the final result.

The best thing about shooting a photographer is that he will probably take a few shots during the session himself! With Riccardo we also share the love for film photography, so we thought to incorporate this to the photoshoot. We had a ridiculous amount of wonderful cameras, like the Contax 645, the Rolleiflex, a Fuji Instax, a lovely vintage Polaroid…and all of them were used, with no exceptions! 

Quand notre ami Riccardo a rencontré Béatrice, nous avons pensé qu’ils étaient l’un des plus beaux couples que nous ayons jamais vu! Bien sûr, nous étions aux anges au sujet de leur love session ! En dehors de cela, photographier un photographe est toujours un défi, car ils sont généralement beaucoup plus à l’aise derrière la caméra. Donc, nous avions un peu la pression de travailler pour un pro du milieu, parce que nous voulions leur session soit magnifique tout en créant une atmosphère intime et détendue pendant le shoot.

 Nous avions besoin d’avoir un endroit avec beaucoup de verdure, davantage dans un esprit « perdu dans les bois », que jardin ou parc. Donc, nous avons pris notre voiture et nous sommes perdus! Nous avons tellement de chance de vivre dans Oltrepò, dans le nord de l’Italie, où les paysages de collines, de bois et de vignes sont à couper le souffle. Comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos, nous pouvons dire que nous avons vraiment trouvé quelques beaux endroits, et nous pensons vraiment que le lieu ajoute cette petite touche de magie au résultat final.

La meilleure chose quand on photographie un photographe, c’est qu’il va probablement prendre quelques clichés lui-même lors de la session ! Avec Riccardo nous partageons aussi l’amour de la photographie argentique, nous avons donc pensé à intégrer cela dans la séance. Nous avons eu un nombre incroyable de superbes appareils, comme le Contax 645, le Rolleiflex, un Fuji Instax, un Polaroid vintage … et tous ont été utilisés, sans aucune exception!
